Edward Rudy Westerneng is an entrepreneur, consultant and inventor based in Barrie, Ontario. He started in scrap metal, taught himself metallurgy and chemistry, and became one of the early builders of Ontario's e-waste recycling industry. He worked at GEEP from 2003 to 2007, first as a commodity trader and then as a technical analyst. In 2008 he founded GreenGo Recycling with one cube van and grew it to 16 full-time and 4 part-time staff. He later consulted for Recychology and served as Vice President of Shift Recycling. Since 2018 he has been President of Westerneng Management Consultants, which helps small and mid-sized businesses put practical AI to work and builds working AI agent systems, including the free Psych harness. In 2025 he founded Dunk Truck, which develops a firefighting vehicle and the SafeBox enclosure for lithium-battery EV fires. He also runs Park-n-Store, a secure outdoor parking and storage facility in Barrie that connects local small businesses through networking and events. He has built, scaled and sold more than one company, has filed provisional patent applications, and publishes independent research in theoretical physics. His businesses intend to integrate AI systems into their operations. Rudy's faith comes first: God, family, friends, then work. He hosts men's Bible studies with more than 100 men attending, as well as a youth study.

Started in scrap ('the worst summer of my life'). Self-taught in metallurgy and chemistry, applied daily to scrap grading, alloy identification, precious-metal recovery from electronics and commodity valuation. One of the early builders of Ontario's e-waste recycling industry.
